Claire Jones and Amaranthia Sepia are a Black, invisibly disabled mother-daughter duo who are the co-founders of the grassroots project Sista Creatives Rising. SCR's mission is to help creative, marginalized women and marginalized genders gain accessibility and visibility in the arts to facilitate personal healing. They seek to strengthen their community by increasing the visibility of these artists through virtual events such as workshops, keynotes, and their virtual film event, Art and Mind.
