Elijah: A Bipolar Prophet Suffering from PTSD - English y Español

I shared this message at Centro International de Intercecion (International Center of Intercession) A hispanic church in San Jose pastored by my friend Nicolas Laszkiewicz. I speak in English and it is translated into Spanish. "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops." Elijah displayed all the symptoms of what we label today as bipolar and PTSD. God did not give up on him, instead he gently healed him and restored him and the greater victory in his life did not come when he was strong but when he was weak. We need to confess our weaknesses one to another not be afraid of transparency and vulnerability - not only will we see personal restoration, we will also tap into a power of intercession that is not available to access any other way.
