Title: Elijah and the Voice  Scripture: 1 Kings 19:9-18  Review: When you Dare to Draw near to God  You will face Trials  You will face Suffering  You will face the Testing of Faith  You will be Mastered by Him  Taking it one step further today, that if you would dare to draw near to God  Your Pride will be revealed  Illustration: Titanic    Pride keeps us from seeing the true problem of the World vs 9-10  Pride keeps us from seeing the problem within Ourselves vs 14-18  Pride keeps us from listening to the Word of God vs 11-13    Reflect and Discuss   Have you demonized someone for having opposing views as yours? Spend this week praying for that person and for your heart. Ask the Lord to give you a humble heart.   Spend this week opening the Word of God and reading it. Listen to what God is saying to you personally through the readings.
