Elijah the Series: #1 Introduction and My Values

My grandson is ten days old.  My daughter, his mom, since she was a child would ask me if I have a child when I am 20, how old will you be when he is 10.  I want him to know you.   The last time she asked me, my answer was 85.  She decided it was time.    These talks, Elijah, are to you.  When you get to an age that you care about your history, who I was, who your great grandparents were, and who all the family I hold in my memory were, I hope you will be able to come here to find out.  Even more important, I hope you come here to learn about values, what is important in life.  You don't need to believe as I do, but I hope I challenge you to think about what kind of person you want to grow up to be.  I hope you grow up to be a wise, happy person.  Your mom has lots to teach you as do most humans around you.  Be a sponge, absorb the best from all humans.    Namaste, Grandpa
