Eliot Cutler Back in Jail for Probation Violations | Portland Maine News

Eliot Cutler, Maine’s twice-failed gubernatorial candidate, is heading back to jail for ten weeks after being convicted of possessing 80,000 images of child sexual abuse material. Despite already serving time, a judge added more prison time because he violated probation multiple times—including refusing therapy, visiting adult websites, accessing explicit content, and even getting kicked out of treatment. While he got a temporary reprieve to handle personal affairs, over two and a half years of probation remain. His fall from public office highlights how no one is above the law—even those who once came close to winning statewide office.
