Elisa Lam checked into the infamous Cecil Hotel on January 26th, 2013. On January 31st, 2013 her family lost contact with her. Her body would be discovered on February 19th, 2013 in one of the water tanks on the roof of the hotel. Her story has prompted much online speculation that continues to this day.
