Elizabeth Madeira is running against one of the most corrupt Republicans in the history of the Tennessee State Legislature, and that's saying something. Disgraced former Speaker of the House Glen Casada has an ego so large that he decided it'd be a good idea to run for reelection, even though his tenure as Speaker was marred with scandals laced with racism, sexism, and corruption. Madeira, on the other hand, is not taking any special interest money and is committed to bringing decency back to House District 63 through her platform which includes Medicaid expansion and the proper funding of public schools.
