Elks colour analyst Dave Campbell
from Inside Sports Hosted by CHED / Curiouscast
The Edmonton Elks are off to their best start since 2019, and Brenden Escott is joined by Elks colour analyst and Inside Sports show producer Dave Campbell to break down whether this early-season success is built to last. We discuss the significance of Edmonton's statement win over Montreal, the growth and confidence being shown inside the locker room and the role the coaching staff has played in establishing the team's identity. We also examine whether the offence can become more balanced or if Justin Rankin will continue to carry the load, the search for a true No. 1 receiver and Cam Carter's first start with Edmonton. Plus, we look at the impact of Nick Anderson's injury, the challenge of heading into Winnipeg on a short week and what slowing down Brady Oliveira would say about the progress of Edmonton's defence.
