Elks Offensive Line Coach Stephen Sorrells
from Inside Sports Hosted by CHED / Curiouscast
Edmonton Elks Training camp is well underway and there’s already plenty to unpack. Brenden Escott is joined by Elks Offensive Line coach Stephen Sorrells to dive into the early impressions coming out of camp, the impact of continuity on the coaching staff and why this group may already look further ahead than it did a year ago. The conversation also takes a closer look at the revamped offensive line, including what newcomers Coulter Woodmansey, Brenden Bordner and Jordan Murray bring to the trenches and how the battle between David Beard and Mark Korte at centre could become one of the most important competitions on the roster. Plus, what kind of influence can veteran quarterback Cody Fajardo have on the development and confidence of this offence as a whole? We wrap by looking at expectations for the season ahead and what fans should notice most when this team finally hits the field.
