Ella Langley Dominates CMA Nominations | Belfast News

Ella Langley is dominating the Country Music Association Awards with nine nominations, led by her chart-topping hit Choosin Texas, which earned her a shot at Single of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. Already a trailblazer for being the only woman to top three major Billboard charts simultaneously with that song, she’s also carrying momentum from sweeping last year’s ACM Awards. Behind her stands mentor Miranda Lambert, who’s up for six awards and co-created Langley’s breakout success. But don’t sleep on the competition — Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, and Luke Combs are all in the mix for top honors. The live CMA Awards, voted by industry insiders, air November 18th in Nashville — set to be a night of unforgettable music and milestones.
