Ellery Lincoln on running a 4:27 mile as a high school jr., racing against the pros at the Pre Classic, game plan for the U20 world championship and more

Ellery Lincoln is set to compete at the U20 world championships in the August in the 1500 and just wrapped up a historic Jr. year of high school racing.Most recently Ellery competed in her first diamond league at the pre classic where she snagged a 4:07 personal best in the 1500 and held her own against the pros.Before the Pre classic Ellery ran a 4:27 mile at Hola festival of miles which is good for #3 on the high school girls all time list and then secured her spot on the worlds team by placing second at USA U20 nationals.In this episode I had the pleasure of sitting down with Ellery and got to debrief her record setting season, discuss what’s to come and more.Ellery is a great young talent and is very well spoken.
