Elliot Kallen
from The Business Power Hour with Deb Krier · host Deb Krier & C-Suite Radio
Elliot Kallen has been an entrepreneur for over 40 years, and like many business owners, he has experienced his fair share of hardships. In 2015, during a critical phase in his business-building journey, Elliot's 19-year-old youngest son, Jake, committed suicide, a devastating event that coincided with the challenges of growing his venture. Despite the tragic loss, he persevered and continued to scale and keep his business running. Elliot, who has founded several businesses, was also forced to sell one of them because it was cash-strapped. From these and other setbacks, he has emerged stronger and gained priceless insights on overcoming adversity in business and life, which he enthusiastically shares with other entrepreneurs. Among the organizations Elliot started are Prosperity Financial Group, an esteemed investment advisory firm that manages over $300 million in assets and A Brighter Day, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing scholarship funds and mental health resources. He is also an author and podcaster.
