Today I saw a picture of an ellipsis ... those 3 dots! I was not aware of them appearing in the bible but apparently they are littered in the bible, predominantly in the psalms, Apostle Paul's letters and in some of Jesus's discourses. An example given is in John 12:7 " 'Leave her alone', Jesus replied. 'It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial ...' ". I don't know how to prove that these illipses actually existed in the original bible texts but whether they do or not, this image today has emphasised all the more the need to communicate with the Holy Spirit sent by Jesus to connect us with Father God and to teach us how to read and interpret His Truths directly for ourselves.
