Dr. Magill is a seasoned plant geneticist who has been teaching and doing research at Texas A&M for decades, having taught many of our current faculty in their graduate days. Ever dedicated to the education of bright-eyed aspiring scientists, Dr. Magill still teaches the entry Gene 603 course; meaning he’s likely to be the first professor every TAMU Genetics student has been taught by.
