Elon potentially gets more funding for Twitter, Amazon allows retailers to use Prime service, Interest Rates rise is coming, CNN+ is shutting down at the end of April.
from Stock Market Observation · host Jacob Lee
Elon Musk continues his march to buy out Twitter by potentially getting Thoma Bravo as another investing company to help bid to buy Twitter. Amazon is allowing third-party's to have access to Prime membership benefits which sounds like a move in order to compete with Shopify. Jerome Powell says that interest rates will most likely rise in May, the question people need to be asking is if interest rates rise will banks make more money, or is a recession on the way? Finally, CNN+ is shutting down at the end of April. The streaming war is going to get ugly most likely as companies are competing with each other over who is using their service.
