Waiting down upon the underworld to smash gangland comes a friend of the unfortunate enemy of Finland. In this area, our powerful character, a problem to the police, but a crusade of Allah. Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Elseworlds Exchange, the comic book podcast where I chat with my co-host Joel from Cake Joel about all things comics, particularly one topic for about an hour.
Let's jump into it. Today we're pitching amalgam characters. Amalgam is a concept, if you're not familiar, from I think 1994 or 96, it was, wow, they did the big as DC versus Marvel crossover, and then spoilers for a 30 year old event. The two universes merge and become the amalgam comics universe, where the whole bullpen of editors from Marvel and DC took a collective hour and a half and came up with as many hodgepodge characters as they could.
For whatever reason, maybe because it was unprecedented, maybe because we never thought we'd ever see it again, maybe because we were right. The fact is this universe has struck a chord with many, many different people. It does. The most flattering of fandom wants to see Return of the Malcom universe, wanted to see, I remember when it first came out, they wanted to see action figures, the amalgam universe.
Oh yeah. And I don't think you're ever going to see anything like this again, but we were imagining that we were. What if they took the amalgam idea and applied it to characters created or the very least reasoning popularity over the last 20 years since 1996? And we took at least an hour and 20 minutes to put this together.
That's right. It took at least an hour to come up with, I don't know, a dozen characters. And their origins literally come from, what if it was this character and this character? I spent more time on their cool names than on their origins.
And really quick just to get them out of the way, William Goldin says, I can't, I stopped watching Rob for this. I didn't realize Rob was on. I would not have stepped on his toes, but thank you very much, William Goldin. Tales from Island Z, Captain Marvel, the mystically charged Cree alien, Kyle McCurdy saying hi, Comic Pop and Joel.
Hello, Kyle. My name is Sal, but thank you anyway. But I'll take Comic Pop because Comic Pop is made up of four or five different distinct personalities. But when they fuse together, they become comic pop.
It's a mega-zord situation. That's a good point. So let's jump into it. So Joel, how many characters did you create and should we go back and forth?
Oh geez, I didn't even put numbers. I created a shit ton and yes, let's go back and forth. I got about 15 characters. Yeah, I think I have about the same.
So really 30 characters. Did you have any duplicates? Did you go like I want to use this person? But I really want to use that person too and this person.
I use the Adam twice by the different guys. Okay cool. Chase Eichler saying any way to combine Peter Parker and Dick Grayson. A lot of people want to see that.
I've seen a lot. I did not do that. I actually did not use any previously established Malcolm characters. Right.
I tried not to, but I might have messed up. I used only one and it was like an alternate version of one of the Malcolm characters. So you won't see any crossover. Spider Boy in this universe, I guess still exists, unfortunately.
It's my least different Malcolm character because it's such bullshit. Hey about the clone and the other clone. Yeah, that's funny. So here we go.
Joel kick it off. Let's do it. All right. So here's a good one.
Red Hulk general Ross does the fusion dance with Atrasset as the leader of the Red Lantern Corps and together they form Red Power, the ultimate rage fueled anti-hero. Yes. Oh my God. See, that's a great use of the new characters.
Red Hulk and Atrasset as two characters that weren't even glittering anybody's eye during the Amallet universe using that formula, putting them together. Why? Because they're both red and pissed. That's why.
Because you want to see that. Keith, one shot. Thanks guys for being a weekly constant. Definitely helps.
No problem. Keith, you're very welcome. Do you have an origin for these guys or is it just this? I guess with a name like Red Power, you could do a thing where it's like, you know, he was pissed off American general who tried to use like a alien Soviet ring of power to make himself the ultimate super soldier, but it just turned him into a big alien monster.
Right, of course. Cool. I imagine he would be an anti-hero. I imagine he would be an anti-hero.
Much like Red Hulk and Atrasset as our anti-heroes. Nice. Nice. So he fights those people who deserve it for the good of King and Country.
Right. Right. Cool. I went small for my first one out.
I emerged Moon Girl and Jonathan Kent. Ooh. Yeah, I came up with Kryptonite Girl. Like it.
Like it. I tried to find something for John, but couldn't. That's really good. Right.
It's just a cute little pairing of young folks. But when I girl, nothing really visibly different about her except for the fact that like she can manipulate this emerald that allows her to create. It's kind of like the old Alan Scott Green Lantern, but with Kryptonite. Or she can conjure a dinosaur, that kind of thing.
Oh, I like, yeah, exactly. It's like, I have a dinosaur, but it's like a projection. It's like a big green projection, a hard light construct. Exactly.
But Kryptonite Girl, that's what I got. If you want, if you can do two after this one, I'll throw this one out as well. Because I was like, okay, super sons. What are we going to do?
I combined VivVision and Damien Wain and came up with Atoniton. Oh, that's interesting. I don't think I would have put those two together. Do explain.
The pair of teenagers, I wanted to go kind of like one for one. So I took a interesting stoic teenager from a unfeeling cold father character. Yeah. And merged both those characters together because it's literally the origins for both of them.
Makes sense. The ideas that they're like, I think they're kind of in like a secret way trying to just rediscover their humanity. But the reality is they're cold, unfeeling products of their fathers or of their grandfather. So that's the idea.
Atoniton. I like that. I like that name a lot. That's freaking put that on a shirt.
Right. Thank you very much. So yeah, go for it. You got two more.
All right. I'm proud of this fusion, but I think the name could use a little work because again, it's hard to talk. It's hard to talk Kryptonite. Okay.
And she's the biggest, toughest warrior woman in the galaxy. Yeah. Yeah. I might just, you know, I might go with like either Viking or like, you know, or stick with Valkyrie, but spell it differently.
Right. But what are those things in Viking lore? Shield made in something like that. It's a little long though.
It's a little long. I have a couple of ones where I'm like, that's too long, right? To drop it. But yeah, I like big Val.
I think that's that goes old school. Like let's just go big Val. Screw it. No, like that's a fun name.
It's silly and and invokes like the old like, you know, let's just have some fun. Who cares if like they'll make fun of her? No one in our universal McFuniver. I think Kirby would be proud of that.
He'd be like, yeah, exactly. We're just having fun like they did. So what's your next one? Big Val.
Hey, you know my friend Big Val? Okay. So giant man, but what is it? The giant man who's going to be in the new movie?
Yes. Not foster, but oh, Bill Foster. I guess I got him confused with Jane Foster. Bill Foster, giant man fused with Adam Smasher.
And together they become Smasher Man. I mean, I guess I just call him Smasher, but yeah, that's a great Smasher man. He's big and he smashes stuff. And again, too, it's like these characters never get enough play, so why not put them together?
And plus if you fuse their color schemes, because I think both Bill Foster, giant man and Adam Smasher actually have really good costumes. Yes, they do. They do have cool costumes. I guess.
Yeah. Similar origin, I guess. Yeah. And they kind of be like Doc Sampsony where it's like, oh, you know, I'm an international man of science.
I basically, you know, rusty ventures dad and I can also punch things. Right, right. And I'm always going to like the Congo in dangerous places and having adventures. Yeah, exactly.
I like that. Somebody has to Bill Foster is still dead, but I have to toss that out there just because he's like, here's the thing, he's going to be in the movie. So not for long. Nope, he's coming back one where I bet in that Ant-Man, Nadia Pym-Wass miniseries.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Did you just drop back Jim Roalds? It was like the laziest, most hand-wavy thing.
I dropped that book. Please tell me how they brought him back. Literally, it's just, it's just, he wants him, like Tony wakes up and he's like, I don't want him to be dead anymore. And so he just works really hard.
And he brings him back from the dead via science or necromancy. How does he do that? Yeah, he just does. Man, that really fucks with the current Punisher book right now where Frank is running around with the War Machine armor and Carol's all pissed at him saying, you know, you're desecrating the memory of a good man by going around and killing criminals in his costume.
Exactly, exactly. No, she's very excited. I mean, like nobody's going to do anything with that idea. I know, wow.
Hard to believe. Let's see. Okay. Mine, I took a character that a lot of people are not huge fans of, but I thought, like, hey, you know what might work is combining her with another character people do enjoy and making a better thing out of it.
I took Ironheart and Starfire. And I took a forge. Nice. Because, you know, you make armor in a forge.
You do with the power of a son in the power of, you know, space. Yeah. And just embracing the fact that, like, you know, in the Titans show, Starfire's gonna play with it by an African-American. That's right.
And if it's already African-American, you put them together, then you have, like, a black starfire that wears armor that shoots fire. It's so stupid. I like it. Hour for Power is more tech-based or more alien physiology-based.
It's like a, it's like a high-me-ray as blue beetle situation. I don't know if the armor's alive. That kind of thing. By wearing the armor is the armor wearing me.
Exactly. I like it. I like it. Now, do you spell forage like the X-Men forge?
Or do you screw around with the spelling and be like, oh, it's the alien forge? Right. I guess maybe. Well, like, she spells Starfire with an F.
So I guess I went with forage, but I guess you could, you could make it stupid or more stupid and have it be like, PH or GE. Right. Yeah, I could see that. I could see that a lot.
That's good. Yeah. I was trying. I had an idea that I was gonna merge with Starfire, but I was like, no wait.
And then it makes that, because you make iron, iron man suits in a forge. Now that's funny there. What is there? Talking about how do you spell that.
Very similar later on in my list. I'm like, oh wait, but this character technically exists. Okay, but I'll just tweak the spelling though. Right, exactly, exactly.
So there you go. Forge. The other one I had, which is an equally stupid idea, is taking, this is the only reboot I have I think. And it is a merging of old man Logan.
Ooh, I like it. There you go. Like old Steve Rogers. Oh.
To make old glory. Ah, yes. What's that costume look like? It looks kind of similar to the Steve Rogers of Earth X where he's like a chiseled marble man statue.
Right. Right. And I see it there where it's like very like, you know, Columbia art American exceptionalism. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
So it's basically just it's like a chiseled old grizzle Wolverine draped in American flag. Maybe with some tatters like to imply there's been some claw marks in it. Does he does he speech a by a lot? Is he like Uncle Sam in the DC universe where he is literally powered by patriotism and when patriotism is waning, he gets really sick and old.
Exactly. Well, like he just loses heart if like if America becomes weak, you know, but he's like half from Earth X. That's the idea. I like that.
And if just one person waves a flag or sings a couple bars with a star spangled banner, he he gets charged up again. Exactly. Alan Osborne saying old glory is the best thing I've heard all day. Well done, sir.
Thank you. Pretty fucking good. Tells her my own seat. Burn she all can burn.
Wonder woman. She's so savage. Like it. Yeah.
I'm sure burn would like that too. Actually. Yeah, no question. So go for it.
What do you got? Okay. What's another good one? I got some ladies here.
Okay, great. So so Mira, who's gotten quite popular recently, she has her own miniseries. I haven't had a chance to read. Yeah, but just the fact that she has one is pretty sweet.
Yeah. And she has the growth for the character plus name or they fuse together to become sea queen. Yes. Sequeen.
And sea queen does not put up with any of this land bull shit. No, no. Now who's costume need to fur two more? Because they both mean like uniforms slash bathing suits.
It's true. It's a little rough. It's almost like well basically put it all in there and make it like she's wearing both. Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
Maybe take like the top half of name ora and the bottom half of Mira. Then I just put that together. Okay, nice. Making a mix and match there.
Obviously she would have like a cool trite. Oh no, she carries two tritons at once. Like Black Widow in the movie. Just two things and two tons.
All the time. That's what she's supposed to fight. What if she fights with two and then it turns out she can lock them together to make one trite. The Darth Maul of Underwater.
The Darth Maul of the Seven Seas. She swings it around. It's like you haven't even seen my cheer power yet interlocks them. It's a cool moment and she's spinning around and everything great in world pools.
Yep, that would be freaking awesome. No one can stop sea queen. I'm going to throw out another young character that's merged with another young character. Kamala Khan's Ms.
Marvel and Beast Boy to make Kamara. Oh, good name. Really solid. I don't think I love Ms.
Marvel. I don't think I put her in here. I probably should have. I was embracing the idea of like take the newer characters characters that would never even been on idea back during the amalgamara.
Right. Kamara, it's just a little like it's just a young teenager from I'm going to stick with Jersey but they're crazy. Please do. But like when they when instead of like instead of going in human, you know, it's more like they became green when their powers manifested and and they can become like this crazy, you know, like they can morph their but it's not that they changed.
She changes into animals. But they can morph the body. She can morph her body into like attributes of the animals. It's not like she can create hard shells or anything.
It's just more like I make the form of a rhino but it's clearly still her. So it's more like a combination of re-richors. It's going to sit the power. Right.
So I can punch you with the head of a rhino and I can bite you with the head of a tiger by turning my hands into those things. Where's she going to come like everything? She's like, I gotta go. So just like pick somebody up with like, you know, octopus arms but then like sprouts and flies away.
It's that kind of thing. I can have the legs of a gazelle and you know, the tendons of a cheetah to make me run really fast. Right. Right.
Uh, Nathan Berg giving us a shout. Thank you so much. Uh, Sam Anderson plastic man and Deadpool. Uh, that's a great combo.
It's not what I use for Deadpool and I didn't even think of plastic man. It's a good call. That's pretty stuff. But what do we call that plastic man and Deadpool?
Uh, Captain annoying. Yeah, like action figure. Uh, like it. So, yeah, also Alan Osborne, C queen sounds very metal like dig it.
It does does. I very much think that C queen is in one of those dark metal universes like off to the side. She's hanging out there. Exactly.
Um, so yeah, that was my Marvel pitch. What else you got? Okay. What else?
You know, that was a really good one. An apropos of that one. Uh, here's a name I'm pretty proud of that I actually did some serious work on. Hawkman who is getting really popular again and coming back in a big way.
He's getting a book. I don't know how long it lasts. Most Hawkman books don't last very long. Plus Thor you put him together and they become Odin's Raven.
Yes. Okay. That's awesome. Again, you know that they got the big helmet, of course, that's got wings on it.
So he's got wings and helmet with wings on it. Yes. He's just all wings all the time. He's got a red cape, but it's like a half like shoulder cape thing that he's got going on with like the bandoliers and the bear chest.
So he's almost got like a bit of 90s Thor going on in there. He's got like long unkempt hair that's all wild and everything. He's got a beard, but it's like braided. He's got like a cool blonde braided biker beard.
And like a bunch of tattoos and shit. He's like, yes, I am Odin's Raven. I like that. I do.
I use Odin's Ravens as well. We'll get into it. Nice. Nice.
Will I am golden saying John Henry steel and Iron Man equals steel man. I have one for John Henry. Good because I do not. You know what, I propose the Hawk people.
I'm going to merge Black Widow and Hawk Girl to make Black Hawk. I like it. It's just a it's like it's like new Falcon. Where it's just like she's a spy and she has like a cool Hawk Girl esque outfit that like is used to infiltrate and it's more like but it's more like a stealth bomber.
So it's very like dark and cool looking and are the wings real? Are they like a wing suit that she like presses a button on her belt and like right? She's codenamed I talk. Black Hawk.
Black Hawk's in the Black Hawk. That's exactly. So yeah, Black Widow and Hawk Girl Black Hawk. That was my dish for those two.
I like it. I like it a lot. All right. What's next?
What's another one here that I'm pretty proud of? Okay. Well, I mentioned steel so I'll just bring this one up right now. That wing of the bat family with steel they come together and they form steel wing.
Steel is a DC character. Oh shit. That's right. He used to I put two DC was like two marble ones together.
So here's a good one too. Yeah, fair enough. No, yeah. I'll take it stealing stealing.
Honestly, those two should just hang out more. I think they're both young up and coming scientists like he has his own company the younger Fox. He should just literally invite John Henry to come hang out with them. Seriously.
That's like a match. I love that idea. That's a book right there that we can steal. That's a book they can make right now.
Go do it. They really get it. You know what's funny? We'll see that soon.
I'm sure. Dracon Ranger Batman who laughs plus spider carnage. Oh shit. Wow.
Yeah. That's metal. You could call him edgelord. Lord of all the edges.
Tell you smoke a super boy John and Cassie Langstatrick will Super stature. Oh, good use of stature. That's a good name. I like that.
Super stature. Super po African American superheroes. I merged Luke Cage and Cyborg. Oh, and I called him Bulletproof.
Oh, that's badass. And basically I took Luke Cage and just made him half machine. Like I gave him, I made it. So it's he's a cyborg but it's more like steals like living robot.
Right. And so it's not the unbreakable skin but it's more like a skin can be common unbreakable alloy. So I like it. Bulletproof.
I took a while to come up with that. I was like thinking about cyborgs and Luke Cage and this power. Yes. When you said bulletproof I couldn't help but think of like the dude from the cops animated series.
Yes. It's crime fighting time. Time. David.
Why was his voice so silky smooth? Because you know he was the sex symbol of that cartoon show. He clearly wasn't. The only reason to see that show is to watch the arc is watch the opening sequence.
Which is amazing. And their villain was a guy called Big Boss. I'm like what from Metal Gear? They're fighting the guy from Metal Gear.
Yep, exactly. I'm an action figure of the villain whose brain was exposed. Yes. Chase Eichler, Groot son of Thanos.
Ooh, ouch. Okay, so I pitched Bulletproof what you got next. I also have a cyborg one. So here you go.
Cyborg plus Death Lock. They come together and become Psylock but I spell it differently. Yes. That's a no matter.
I can't believe I didn't think of Death Lock. We're just with Cyborg. Good old Psylock. And again, it's like he looks a lot like Cyborg but he's a lot more intimidating looking like Death Lock.
That's cool. Yes. And less of a zombie and he's a total badass. Everybody loves it.
He's as bad as it deserves beyond the justice league. He does. Again, Cyborg, maybe he deserves to be on the justice league. Psylock definitely deserves to be on the justice league.
The modern day blood wind. Theodore Kemena saying Swamp Thing plus Man Thing equals Swamp Man Thing Thing. It's true. It really does.
It was Swamp Thing and Man Thing equals the Thing. I actually did it. I have a way better pitch. You know what else you could call an Everglade?
Everglade? Do you have that too? Did you come up with Man Thing and Swamp Thing? I don't but I just thought that right now.
Like Everglade because where's a lot of Swamps? Nice. Muguwara Bluefee. Just throwing us a bone.
Thank you very much. Thank you sir. You know what? I'm going to transition into that.
I do it with Swamp Thing. Pitch. Groot. And Swamp Thing equals The Guardian.
Nice. Because Swamp Thing is the Guardian of the Green. Groot is a Guardian of the Galaxy. Sure is.
Does the Guardian talk or does he talk in Groot speak? I think it's more like it's instead of using his name he just says one word. Right. So yeah.
That word is justice. Right. Well he says one word at Propos situation. Just one word.
It says General Zod and Ares would be awesome. I agree. General War. Warmonger.
Yeah. I'm like War God or like or General God. General God. I'm General God.
Please to meet you. Who's that guy that creeped Warbringer? Right. Too bad that name's already taken.
Yeah. Yeah. All right. What do you got?
Okay. What else do I got here? What are some more fun ones? This is great.
Oh, here's one. Miles Morales Spider-Man plus Blue Beetle Jaime Reyes become Blue Spider. Yeah. I mean, yeah.
No question. That took me two seconds. That is a great idea. It's so great.
There was well before Jaime Reyes. There is in one of my little wizards somebody drew a picture of Algomizing the Justice League and the Marvel Universe. Yeah. And made a Blue Beetle Spider-Man crossover.
It was Blue Spider. It was the old Ted Cord one. Right. I loved that visual of basically a Blue Beetle themed Spider-Man costume.
I loved it. Awesome. You're proved just by virtue of the fact that I've always wanted to see Blue Spider. Man, DC has dropped the ball so hard on a high-name Reyes.
There was a time where it's like, yo, he could be your Spider-Man for this universe. He speaks the lingo of the youth. Everyone really likes him and is down to earth-relatable problems. And time and time again, DC's been like, yeah.
Nah, I don't know what to do. Tales from Island Z, Mixer, Mixer, Mixer, Spittlic, Galactus equals picky eater. That's funny. He'll eat your planet, but only if you play his game and you can only defeat him by getting him to, I don't know, give his order backwards.
Yeah, I guess. I don't know. I think you made specifically for you. It was To Gun Kid and Jonah Hex equals To DOOMSTONE.
Oh, shit. Why did I not put me Western ones on here? That's great. It was like, this is so just Joel Pick, I would never care or write this book, but To Gun Kid and Jonah Hex, Tombstone, it's just a really, really grizzled, horribly scarred To Gun Kid character.
Does he wear gray like an actual granite Tombstone? Yeah, I think he has a gray duster. There you go. I like it a lot.
Thank you very much. If we're doing a, what is it, like World War II ones? We should do in Western ones. We should do World War II ones too.
Sergeant Rock and who's another one? Who's like a Marvel, old, tiny World War II? Nick, okay, original Nick Fury. So there you go, Sergeant Rock and Nick Fury.
They become... I guess Sergeant Fury. I guess so, but isn't Fury already a Sergeant? What was his designation?
I don't know. Maybe like Agent Fury. Although I guess he becomes an agent later on when he becomes an agent of shield. What's the highest military rank you can get, General?
Yeah, I don't know. I think... General Fury. I don't know, General Fury works.
I would just call him Kaleke, a commando. Oh, that works too, nice. Yeah, keep it simple. Yeah.
I guess he's bluffing saying, Dr. Strange and Constantine equals Strange Blazer. I love that idea. And Keith one shot, X23 plus Damien equals Ravenclaw.
Ah, Dark Side and Thanos equals the end. Just the A. So I call him Anti-Life. Oh, that's one too.
I did come up with a villain. It's Dr. Doom and Brainiac. They're both super geniuses.
I called him Dr. Savant. Oh shit. Didn't get your SAT words in there.
Yeah, just a cool bad guy who pushes intelligence above all others and maybe his whole thing is kind of like a Thanos type of thing. Like moving Thanos where it's like, I only think the people who are intelligent should survive. I don't know, something like that. Good pitch.
I have a villain too and I think this one will also make you laugh. Okay. Okay, so KGBast plus Omega Red becomes Omega Beast. Yes.
That is a lot. That's somebody who can fight. Exactly. There you go.
That's his first foe right there, the spirit of Russian imperialism. The Omega Beast and Omega Beast has a gun on one hand and tentacles in the other and he puts them together and their tentacle guns. Every 13 year old will love Omega Beast. They will have someone who will have a full sleeve tattoo of Omega Beast.
Oh yeah, and his catchphrase is, I'm going beast mode. Man, I would also make I might consider calling him Beast Mode, but yeah, I really don't think. Omega Beast. And I mean, the costumes are basically very similar too for Omega Red and KGBs.
I would keep the mask. I'd have a little blonde hair poking out and I'd keep the shoulder pauled her and she had. Oh yeah, of course. Man, Omega Beast.
I'm not going to be able to beat that. I threw out. Okay, here's a character's recently created that a lot of people that resonate with a lot of characters. Gwenpool and Booster Gold.
Oh, I see what you're doing. Gold Star. Gold Star is basically just a female booster gold who can travel back in time and knows they're in a comic book. So the ultimate meta character.
Yeah. The ultimate self-aware fourth wall breaker. Yeah. Gold Star.
I fully support this. Is that her catchphrase too? You get a gold star. Yes, exactly.
Kane's world saying tombstone and Captain Cold, Eagle Stone Cold. Totally. Mystery Theater, throw in some bones. Thank you very much.
And so Joel, take it away. What follows Gold Star? Okay. What are some other good ones I have here?
Okay. So the Adam, but like the original rape home or Adam plus the original Ant Man form Adam Ants. What is Adam Ants powers? He can shrink.
He can shrink really freaking small. Occasionally grow big. He can shoot stuff. He's really smart, but also kind of a dick.
And he can be forgotten about for long periods of time until he gets on TV and then people are interested in him. Here you go. What is his name? Adam Ants.
One word or something. Oh, she's probably hyphen it. Also, he dresses like Adam Ants the singer, of course. That's his costume.
Oh, okay. That's just a long way for Joel to make a freaking, you know, hair metal or a hair pop joke. Seriously. Oh my God.
Good Lord. Again, how did no one do that? How did no one do Adam Ant? It was looking right there.
That's true for them. I can't believe it. Mine freak 555 Miracle Fox Star Fox plus Mr. Miracle.
He escapes dark pasts for pleasure. Okay. Okay. Cool.
Miracle Fox. Here's one that I'm tossing out. This is an oldie but a goodie. Oh, really quick.
Comic bandwagon suggesting Jessica Jones and Barbara Gordon as Oracle. I like the music using the old names of like somebody but merging them. I've done that before as well. Yeah.
That's pretty solid. That'd be cool. And Alex McDade, really fun episode. Also gold star such a wholesome name.
I love it. It really is. Yeah, the idea would be fun. It would be fun.
It would be just like a way to like look at snapshots of the amalgam universe throughout time and having that character just kind of like putts around. The way the Deadpool did in like a secret wars 1984 secret wars Deadpool or like that goes back in time or like Deadpool was the entire time. Moon Knight and the Red Hood. He goes Blood Moon.
And it's just a more biker themed moon knight the hood or the helmet is white. Excellent. And they drive a like crescent moon motorcycle that's and they just kick ass and kill people. And take names.
Are they crazy or are they not crazy? I think they have to be crazy. Maybe they were driven insane. Right.
Right. But yeah. But it's only the one personality. Now is his powers related to the moon?
Can you only come out when there is a blood moon and when it's waxing and waning? Does that affect him? Originally I was like he was inspired by the moon. It wasn't directly correlated.
He's not insane or he's not like crazy enough to think that the moon got it. I didn't want to do the conchoo thing. But I think that you should probably merge some kind of like demonic spirit from the DC and like trigon and conchoo. And that's the god.
So it's like he thinks he's worshiping the god of the moon and turns out it's like a demon. That works for me. That's the twist. You don't find that out till it's you five of them any.
Right. Exactly. George Jay Batman plus black knight equals the dark knight. Sure does.
Love that. So yeah that was my moon knight pitch. It took me about 10 seconds to come up with that one. Love it.
I got another one here. Colossus. Okay. With citizen steel, Hank, what in together they form comrade steel.
Okay, that's a great name. I love it. I'm real Russian heavy on this one. Aren't I?
