Hello everybody welcome back to another episode of broken record. My name is Ellie. I'm your host and today We are talking about Elton John because Elton John was recently in Seattle He played on Sunday and Monday and my parents and I went to his Monday concert and was so good And I'm so excited to talk about it So Elton John the icon himself right like there's certain people that like if you have the chance to see them in concert You need to go like you like you do what you need to go So like Elton John Paul McCartney like the big names so Elton John came and I knew we had to go So we got to go and I'm so excited Elton John's stage was literally insane like I feel like a lot of the times when artists go on tour their stages are flat And they have a screen behind them or above them both But like Elton's was cool like he it was his list like there was a part of it That was flat and then it like kind of was curved up into the screen So there was like kind of like a curvy like hilly thing But it was like 3d2 like he had like 3d like it was actually there and it wasn't just graphics like a border I guess that was gold and like it said farewell Yolric Road because that's the name of his tour and it had like roses on it It looked like cobblestone like it was so cool, but yeah, so Elton opened his tour with Benny and the Jets But it's like such an iconic song and it was so cool to hear it live It was crazy it like totally set the mood for the night and everyone was just so incredible and it was crazy It was insane. He also sang Tiny Dancer, which is one of my favorite songs by Elton John.

I love it so much It's so good. We have a dog named Norman He's a miniature doxon and whenever we like come home or we see him after he hasn't seen us for like an hour or something He gets so excited and he like jumps around and like squirms and so mom calls him his tiny her tiny dancer And I think it's so funny and so cute and so I associate Tiny Dancer with my dog now But it's so good and I love it. So here's a little bit of tiny dancer It's so good and I love the bridge of that song. It's so good and powerful and it's outstanding Elton John was such a good concert He had costume changes or like outfit changes He came out originally in like a black laser and black pants Don't worry They had sparkles and they're the most amazing sparkles I've ever seen and then he went off stage and changed into a blue jacket With like a cat on the back like a tiger face and the tiger face was also sparkled as it should be and then during the encore He was wearing a pink robe Which I thought was really funny and smart because if I end in my concert in a row That would just be like so nice because then I could just like immediately get a bit after the outfits in the Tacoma dome were so impressive and so entertaining it because it was like all like relatively Older people for the outfits they were wearing like they were wearing like full-on sequin pants dudes like fun blazers They had like Elton John jackets and pants and like everyone's going all out And it was so fun to see because it was an age group where like you don't associate them with like dancing crazy and like Funny and like funky and it was so fun to see it was so fun to see and it was so entertaining Just like walking to our seats We passed by so many people with like the most amazing outfits.

It was so fun Elton John also sang Crockett out of rock another great song and I love that during part of the song He had the audience in it which I love when artists do not at concerts because it just shows how powerful the audience is and it was so cool So here's a little bit of that. I love it so much. It's so good and it makes me want to close out my hands so loud I love it. Love it.

Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it.

The last song I want to play for you is a rockin man I love it so much. It's arguably one of Elton's most famous songs at least for my generation in it It's so good and I love it so much and I'm so excited to play it and let you hear it. So here it is That is such an iconic song and I'm so so so so so lucky that I got to hear it live It is so insane to me that I've seen Elton John in person like that's crazy What he's like such an icon and I can say I've seen him in person. That's crazy.

I don't know how I'm gonna deal with that That's insane. I'm so so so so so lucky. Yeah, this is a great concert. I loved it so much I had so much fun with my parents.

I love the songs that he's saying something that was really cool that he did was he When he was playing his songs, he either had like graphics which were insane by the way They were like so trippy like they were I don't even know how to explain it But it was like so random but like also totally made sense for an own John concert It was so weird But like there would be graphics behind a song or during some of the songs he would have like clips of himself when he was younger And then I forget what song it was but he had clips of oh he went he was saying I'm still standing he had clips of like all the times He's been like on a television show or like a movie or something whether it was him actually in the show or it was someone playing him Or was a cartoon of him but it was so funny because like you don't realize how often like he's on TV or on screen until they're like It's literally a montage in front of you It was so cool And also another good fun thing that he did was during Saturday night's all right for fighting It was it was like a bunch of fight scenes like all the most iconic fight scenes from like movies and stuff And it was so fun and during during one of the one part of the song Elton John was in it with his fight scene from Kingsman And it was so funny. I love Kingsman and I love the movie specifically the one that he's in Kingsman the Golden Circle It was so good. I loved it so much. It was so funny.

Oh my gosh Elton John that movie is hilarious, but he this concert was just so good Like it was so top-notch and Elton like totally put on an amazing show and I'm so glad that I got to go And I was actually insane.
