On the 27th of Elul, the third day of creation, G!d creates the trees. In today's podcast, I talk about a story you might be familiar with - the Giving Tree, and how we view ourselves as humans in relation to trees and the rest of creation. I touch upon the devastating fires on the West Coast of the U.S. and how climate change is making these fires more and more frequent.
