Embattled Former Jefferson Co. Iowa Ambulance Director Shares His Story

On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain sits down with former Jefferson County Iowa Ambulance Director Brian Thomas. On April 24, 2023, Brian Thomas was hired by the Jefferson County Iowa Board of Supervisors as Ambulance Director. He was tasked with starting a brand-new department from scratch since the County had been hiring its Ambulance Service from a private entity. By April 17, 2024, Brian Thomas was in his words, forced to resign, due to an alleged inappropriate relationship with an employee under his management. He was given a choice to either do it the easy way or the hard way. He chose the easy way and it has been anything but since. On this episode you will hear Brian’s side of this story.
