Embracing a Dangerous Mission
from Exponential Podcast
In this Exponential 2011 podcast, JR Woodward reminds us that Jesus calls us to following him into the world, which makes for an adventurous life filled with risks and rewards, joys and dangers. Part of the reason many young people are leaving the church today is because the church feels more like a country club rather than a community on a dangerous mission to bless the world. If we really want to follow Jesus, we must be willing to be rejected, to live simply, to be peacemakers and agents of economic justice, and ultimately be willing to suffer and die for his name's sake.
