We all go through it, it's inevitable we will all experience it in our lifetime. Whether it be in relationships, career, or any dream worth pursuing....and that is rejection. It's a word not many of us are too fond of. Though if you change your perspective and embrace rejection as redirection it opens the door to opportunities and setbacks become a catalyst for bigger possibilities. My next guest, Jill de Jong shares her journey of rejection that sparked a new pursuit which in turn led her into her purpose and overall success. Jill was born in Holland, and her successful modeling career brought her to the United States. After making the career shift from full-time modeling to health coach, personal trainer, and chef, she's never looked back. Recently she launched her first book, Models Do Eat: More Than 100 Recipes for Eating Your Way to a Beautiful, Healthy You. Joining forces with ten different models, they share their secrets to feeling healthy and looking great, what worked for them in healing their bodies, and show us that getting fit and the body you want doesn't mean giving up delicious food.  In our conversation we discuss the power of receiving feedback and using that to empower ourselves, instead of losing ourselves when things don't go as planned. How to remain confident when we receive rejection and being open to collaborating with others so that we can be of service instead of self serving.
