Embracing the Tension - Mark DeYmaz

In this fourth of four messages (since 2012; see below for links) considering biblical teaching, timeless principles, and Christian community in regard to those identifying as LGBT, Dr. Mark DeYmaz challenges us to think more deeply, speak with civility, and walk in humility in order to advance a credible and compelling witness of God's love for all people, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in an increasingly diverse and cynical society. In very practical terms, Pastor Mark outlines presuppositions, speaks to complexities, addresses interpretive models, and answers specific questions related to individual believers and the collective body of Christ at Mosaic, such as: can those identifying as LGBT be members of the church, be married by the church, serve in the church, and more.
