EMERGIPOD: Adams Canned By Sabres (Featuring Joe Yerdon)

On this emergipod edition of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by hockey writer and sports media personality Joe Yerdon to discuss the Monday Buffalo Sabres bombshell that'd been rumored for days----the firing of general manager Kevyn Adams and appointment of Jarmo Kekalainen to take his position.After five and a half largely unsuccessful seasons as general manager, Adams is officially out. With him at the helm Buffalo went 178-196-42 and never finished higher than 20th in the league standings as the Sabres historic playoff drought reached 14 and in high danger of being 15 this season.
