He was playing with his toy car. Zoom! It raced across the bench. A soft breeze ruffled his hair. [whispering] "Vroom, vroom!" whispered Emir. Suddenly, a loud *THUD* made him jump. [thoughtful] What could it be?[short pause]Chapter 2: Heroes in a TangleBehind the bench, Captain America was tangled in a kite string! His shield lay next to him. Black Widow tried to untangle him but kept slipping. Hawk Eye looked through small binoculars from a tree. Spiderman was upside down, dangling from a branch, [laughing] laughing. "Oh no!" Emir giggled. [chuckles] What a silly sight![short pause]Chapter 3: Emir's Helping HandEmir put down his toy car. [happy] "I can help!" he chirped. He carefully walked over. Captain America blinked. Emir gently pulled one end of the string. Black Widow untangled another part. Snip, snip! The string came loose. Captain America stood up. [booming] "Thank you, young hero!" he boomed. But what was that noise in the distance?[short pause]Chapter 4: Catwoman and Batman's ClashEmir, Captain America, and Black Widow looked to the sky. Far off, on top of a tall building, they saw Catwoman and Batman! They were jumping and tumbling. *THWACK!* Catwoman swiped. *WHOOSH!* Batman dodged. It looked like a big chase! [crying out] "They need help!" cried Emir. [thoughtful] How would they get up there?[short pause]Chapter 5: A Webby Way UpSpiderman swung down. [shouting] "I have web-shooters!" he shouted. "We can make a web-ladder!" He aimed his wrists. *THWIP! THWIP!* Strong, sticky webs shot out. They made a long ladder reaching up, up, up towards the tall building. Emir watched with [surprised] wide eyes. [thoughtful] Could they really climb that high?[short pause]Chapter 6: Climbing Towards the ActionBlack Widow was first, quick and agile. Emir, holding tight to Captain America's hand, climbed next. Step by step, up they went! The wind whizzed past his ears. Hawk Eye flew with his glider, keeping watch. They could hear Catwoman and Batman's grumbles getting closer. Almost there! [thoughtful] What would they find at the top?[short pause]Chapter 7: Misunderstanding on the RooftopOn the roof, Catwoman bumped Batman. He dropped a big, shiny key! [hissing] "My key!" she hissed. Batman frowned. [annoyed] "I thought you wanted to take it!" Black Widow stepped forward. [questioning] "What's happening here?" Catwoman [sniffling] sniffled. "I lost my special cat-toy key! He found it!" [thoughtful] But why were they fighting?[short pause]Chapter 8: Emir's Simple SolutionEmir knelt down. He picked up the shiny key. [happy] "Here, Catwoman!" he said, holding it out. Catwoman's eyes widened. [surprised] "Oh! My favorite key!" She gently took it. Batman nodded. [realizing] "She just wanted her key," he realized. A big misunderstanding! [exhales sharply] What a relief! [thoughtful] But what about Hawke Eye's binoculars?[short pause]Chapter 9: A Speedy SaveHawk Eye's binoculars tumbled from his glider, spinning down, down, down! [crying out] "Oh no!" cried Emir. Spiderman, quick as a flash, aimed his web-shooter. *WHOOSH!* A sticky web flew out, catching the binoculars just before they hit the ground. [relieved] "Phew!" everyone sighed. Emir clapped. [excited] What a smart team![short pause]Chapter 10: Heroes' Thanks and a Sweet TreatCaptain America put his hand on Emir's shoulder. [proud] "You helped us all today, Emir!" Black Widow nodded. Batman and Catwoman both thanked him too. Spiderman gave him a high-five.
