With the Primetime Emmy Awards deadline coming on May 31, a rush of new seasons and shows are hitting networks and streaming platforms. Following the recent conclussion of strong seasons from Emmy favorites "The Pitt," "Severance" and "The White Lotus," streamers have recently dropped shows including: "Andor" on Disney+. "The Handmaid's Tale" on Hulu. "Dying for Sex" on Fx for Hulu. "The Last of Us" on Max. "Your Friends & Neighbors" on Apple TV+. "MobLand" on Paramount+. "The Residence" on Netflix. "The Studio" on Apple TV+. Another new show is "The Bondsman" on Amazon Prime Video. Co-host Bruce Miller chats with Beth Grant and Jolene Purdy, who star in the show anchored by Kevin Bacon and Jennifer Nettles. And to close the show, the hosts chat briefly about "Warfare," the new film from Alex Garland that includes a number of notable television faces, including "Shogun" star Cosmo Jarvis. About the show Streamed & Screened is a podcast about movies and TV hosted by Bruce Miller, a longtime entertainment reporter who is now the editor of the Sioux City Journal in Iowa and Terry Lipshetz, a senior producer for Lee Enterprises based in Madison, Wisconsin.
