Emotional Addiction

There are many types of Addictions. Some addictions are glamourized while others are stigmatized. If you’re an addict you’re many times shunned, disowned, and many do not wish to be associated with you. Have you identified your addictions? Have you been holding on to a dead relationship which cripples you mentally, physically, emotionally, creatively, and artistically? Prior to entering any relationship or situations you should seek out the permission of your higher power. The last thing you want to do is commit to something that acts as a lethal injection in your life. This message is to save you from killing your purpose and destroying a blessed plan. Men and women alike find themselves prospering the minute they break away from toxicity. The moment it’s allowed to return it’s like dropping an atomic bomb into your life and your left completely devastated all over again. We all know the definition of insanity. Yes it’s doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Yet you keep letting him or her back in expecting a changed man or woman. The problem is we tend to forget about to the historic trends. Need I take this opportunity to remind you of how things play out? You reminisce, you’re in a state of bliss, and in comes the emotional bulldozer. Now you’re left sifting through what’s left of what you built when you’ve broken away the first time. Come on now! WAKE UP! Do not lower your standards. Don’t not fall prey to your old bae. Keep it pushing. Stop fantasizing about the good times because they only lasted two percent of the time. Remember the other 98% that made you quit. Remember how drained you felt. Remember the sleepless nights, the arguments, the final moment when you realized that he or she was not sh!#. It’s perfectly ok to forgive, but don’t forget. Remember when you prayed and said better days are coming? Well guest what? They’re here.
