On today’s episode, we are joined by Maddy Wood, a sport psychologist and mental performance coach at Missouri Rush Soccer club. Maddy herself played soccer for Missouri Rush before going on to play at the collegiate level at Millikin University where she graduated with her bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in health and wellness coaching. She then continued her education at Georgia Southern University receiving her masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology while getting to work with athletes across multiple sports from middle schoolers all the way to Division 1 athletes. Upon moving back to Missouri, Maddy started working at Missouri Rush Soccer Club as their mental performance coach, providing education and support for the staff, the teams, as well as individuals.
