Emotions as children

Emotions and thoughts are wired together at the same time. A baby  expresses with its emotions: it wants, it cries, it coos, it laughs. All  those things are related to the body sensation that is having and it's  using those to get us to pay attention to it because it needs something  or it wants something. As we get older we turn those same body  sensations into language. Emotions and language are directly related  because we put language to the emotions that we're experiencing.
