Empowered Through Surrender: When I am Weak, Then I am Strong

from Woven in Truth Podcast · host Fadia

This special episode is a lesson and dialogue with our inspiring friend, Fadia- a resilient and faithful disciple from the Middle Eastern country of Jordan. Fadia has endured devastating trials, many on account of her faith in Jesus, including the imprisonment of her beloved husband. She shares with us the courage and convictions that have carried her through even the darkest of valleys, and the strength and purpose she finds in God. Episode Notes: Judges 4-5 -God appoints Deborah Deborah responds to God's call and plan- using her gifts, talents, and wisdom. Deborah was committed and obedient to God, even in hard times  When we are women that are committed to God's plan, we can find strength we never knew we could possess. We don't like the times when we endure trials- but these are when we grow closer to God and find strength and direction from Him. It takes courage to trust that God is in control. When I am Weak, Then I am Strong2 Corinthians 12:9-10 - "But {The Lord} said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."Are you obedient to God's commandment and voice, even in the hard times? When Deborah achieved victory, she didn't forget the victory belonged to God. She praised and celebrated God after He worked powerfully and gave the vicory. (Judges 5) When WE have victories in our life, we shouldn't give credit to ourselves and "our" strength, we should give Him all the glory! We can celebrate the victories WITH God.He is an Almighty, Holy, and Loving Lord- He has a purpose and a call for YOU. We can be women that are committed to God even in the hardest times. We can be courageous through trusting God and His word, and sharing God's love with others. We can be thankful to God for His work within and through us. Faith is built in the darkest of valleys. No man can fill the role that designed for women. Satan will try to tell us lies- that we are inferior or inadequate. We must denounce his lies as we fill ourselves with God's truth. Respond to God's call Be committed in any circumstance or situation.  Be courageous by trusting God to work- He will never forsake you. Let's pray for our sisters in the Middle East! Support the showThank you so much for supporting the show.
