Empowering Black Youth: Do We Really Care?

from Mental Dialogue

During the pandemic lockdowns, Atlanta KEISHA LANCE BOTTOM initially released an ordinance to remove the "WATERBOYS" off the corners via POLICE ENFORCEMENT, until our special guest KACEY VENNINGS, co-founder of Helping Empower Youth stepped in and created an alternative to ensure those young men were not disregarded by the system. Second-hour guest DERRICK STANDIFER, founder of Life Is Like A Rubik’s Cube, has taught 1000s of Black youth how to tap into their genius via the Rubik’s Cube.  We ask each of our guests in their opinion does the overall community truly care about BLACK YOUTH. Are today's youth prone to not listening, or have we as adults simply failed to listen? Does the Black community unfairly stigmatize our youth, or can the parents fairly be blamed for the problems we see? MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask. ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK
