She has 18 years experience in commercial finance and is on a mission to improve access to finance for female led businesses.   Roxanne created Female Founder Finance with the aim of building a bespoke, specialist female finance boutique to provide access to finance for female entrepreneurs in the UK.  35% of women seeking funding have encountered gender bias from financiers.  Research also suggests that they often have to face more hurdles in the application process and are given fewer chances of finding financial support.
