Welcome to The Inspired Women Podcast. On this episode your host Megan Hall interviews Amy Kincaid. Amy Kincaid has a Masters Degree in Psychology. She ended up on an unconventional career path, making a successful career in Market Research vs. pursuing traditional therapy/counseling. But she believes Psychology principals apply to life in general and realized the importance of understanding the mind when she had children. As a person who suffered from depression most of her life, she was determined to raise strong and resilient kids. As a mother, she fell in love with Psychology all over gain reading book after book (she is an avid speed reader 🙂 ). Now she is a blogger focused on positive affirmation and life hacks for retraining our brains to remove the inherent negativity bias. Her passion is finding the balance between Overprotecting and Empowering our kids.
