Since moving to Austin six years ago, I had always been on the search for a good party. One that promoted togetherness, abundant love, nonstop laughter and most importantly, the boogie! Something that reminded me of Chicago, home. I heard about a local party, "Body Rock" and decided to check it out. The consistency of all that I had looked for, I finally found. You can't imagine my excitement when I was asked to play "Body Rock - A Tribute to Erykah Badu" with my D.A.M.E. sisters (DJ Mahealani & Queen Deelah) just ONE day before flying out to New York to open for Les Nubians!
