Ordene til gjeterne har nok gjort godt og vært som et håndtrykk fra Himmelen. Hun trykket ordrene til sitt bryst og tok godt vare på dem. Gjør vi det? Lar vi Guds Ord eller de spesielle hilsenene vi får, synke dypt inn i hjertet og bevares? Det finnes mange fugler som vil snappe det vekk fra oppmerksomheten vår, enten vi tenker på Twitter eller andre oppmerksomhetstyver. Jesus sa at den som tar vare på ordene, vil oppleve at de bærer rik frukt, Luk. 8, 5+15. For Maria ga nok ordene styrke i møte med misforståelse og smerte. For oss kan slike ord være viktige påminnelser når livet røyner på. Hvilke gode ord kan vi hente fram igjen i dag og grunne på?
