Encountering the Lord - Life Encounters Jesus, New Beginnings

This is a six week seminar that explores stories in the Scriptures ofpeople encountering the Lord and how their lives become changed.Encountering the Lord takes the participant on a journey throughvarious stories in the Gospels and the Book of Acts and shows therelevance of the Bible to daily life. The participant will have theopportunity to grow in expectancy of encountering the Lord as theseminar unfolds. St. John Paul II stated that the foundation of everyCatholic life is a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus. He statedthat the Church’s assumption is that “Jesus Christ is alive, at workin history and changing lives.” This seminar explores this truth andseeks to lead each participant into an encounter with the risen LordJesus. This is the “water of life” that truly satisfies our hearts.
