The First Step: Tie up loose ends with God, with yourself, with others. Is there anything that you need to clear up with God? Any doubt, fear, question? Write it out. You don’t have to have the answer or resolution now, you just need to have it out in the open. Hidden resentments can hinder your hearing and seeing and being; this is private between you and God. Is there anything that you need to clear up with yourself? Sometimes we are hardest on ourselves, shaming, blaming and holding on to regrets. Do whatever is necessary to be free from the weight of your past. Again you don’t have to be fully free now, just be working on it. The process will expose any areas that need behavior change. Be ready. Is there anything that you need to clear up with others? Remember that forgiveness doesn’t free the other person, it frees you. And YOU are a forgiving person; you CAN’T not forgive. Likewise if you need to restore or walk away from a relationship, even if its a process, put it on the table as part of your learning to live as a spirit being here on this earth.
