Encounters With Jesus: Healing of Jairus' Daughter & The Bleeding Woman with Dr. Jeff Warren

This message from Mark 5:21–43 explored what happens to our faith when life becomes crowded. Through the intertwined stories of Jairus and a woman who had suffered for 12 years, we saw two desperate people push through obstacles, uncertainty, and distraction to reach Jesus.The crowd surrounding Jesus became a powerful picture of the noise and busyness that can fill our own lives. While many people were physically close to Jesus, these two approached him with faith, reminding us that proximity to Christ is not the same as intentionally pursuing a relationship with him.This message challenged us to consider what may be crowding Jesus out of our lives. In the middle of demanding schedules, competing priorities, and seasons of uncertainty, we were reminded to keep our attention fixed on him, trusting that he sees us, meets us in our need, and is at work even when we cannot yet see the outcome.
