Encouraging the saints!

from 10 Minute Inspirational Nuggets Hosted by Renee Floyd

Encouraging the saints by Dr. Karen Brown, PhD Summary: In the very least, we are urged to give up our old ways of living, as well as the greedy mentality that goes along with them. We can also be required to give up something harmful, such as a bad habit, something neutral, such as money, or something positive, such as a good career or church. Whatever it is, the temptation happens because of things getting in the way of our needs and God's will for our lives. However, the measure of our trust in God will determine how tightly we hold on to what God asks us to let go. Scriptures: Mark10:29-31(KJV) And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first. Romans 8:18 (KJV) For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
