Every religion requires some kind of walk of faith. Some require blind faith and others or a little bit more nebulous in their explanation of faith. Faith without discernment is foolishness and quite dangerous. True faith requires, life experiences and knowledge so that your next step can be enlightened. The Bible tells us that God wants to be a lamp into our feet and a light unto our path. This requires an intimate knowledge of trusting God in all of his attributes and recognizing the proof and creation that he exists, to be trusted.
