According to the ancient Myans December 21, 2012 will be the date of someting significant for our civilization. What exactly that will be, noone knows, but conspiracy theorists, prophets and doomsday fanatics are all not afraid to take a guess - and usually they guess that its all going to end! In reality, nothing may actually happen, though. It may just be another day, just like the one before it. Just because the Long Count Caneldar ends on Dec. 21 doesn't mean anything at all because the ancient Myan text that tells what happens was partially destroyed. Conviently, the part that was damaged was the part of the text that containted that crucial information.
