He Says That He Got His Name Because He Was Bullied And Bought My First Gun A 38 Smith And Wesson And It Was Very Small. Music Runs In His Family, It All Started With His Grandfather, He Was In A Successful Gospel Group call The "MONTGOMERY BOYS" And They Traveled Throughout Georgia Performing And Doing Radio In The 1960's. And That's Where His Journey Started With Music. Now Fast Forward To 2021, Lil Strap Is Carrying His Father's Legacy By Doing Hip-Hop Music And And His Goal Is To Keep His Family's Name Alive.
