Jalen Pierce who goes by Shaheed Franklin, is the 14 year old brother of Author J.A Butler, who is signed with DREAMWAKEWORK publishing. Shaheed is striving to make it somewhere with his passion for music. He started making music just a few years back as a child, but wasn't consistent. Now at the age of 14, he’s still grinding and has multiple streaming platforms where he uploads his music. As he continues to work for what he wants, he continues to improve in his music. Although he will have to overcome the treacherous environment of north Philadelphia, his determination shows anyone can make it to the top. This is just the beginning for a young man trying to make it out of the hood.
