Endie Fiya Welcomes Back Lyricist & Wordsmith ~ Brendon James

Making his 2nd appearance of 2020 and 3rd in his career to the radio show Brendon James is a 20 year old underground Hip hop artist from Virginia Beach well known for his Complex writing lyrical style and Consistent work ethic. After his first appearance on the show 10/24/19, he was nominated for most entertaining interview that year, though unfortunately he did not win the award he was humble and grateful to have been on the show. Starting on releasing floods of music on SoundCloud from late 2018-19 Brendon gained little to no traction or revenue from it while also receiving hate and discouragement from the local scene. However the hunger didn’t stop but he realized that wouldn’t cut it taking a 2 month retirement before returning to release new and polished old music on other DSPs in Feb 2020 and retiring/making his soundcloud private. After releasing his first project of the year “The Brendon James LP” he picked up steam quickly with the project standing at 147k streams on Spotify. Things only continued to get better despite even more negative bias which only pushed him harder to silence them, after a “beef” between 2 local artists and their fanbases only to have the last laugh sitting at the top with 400k total streams. That was in April. As of 7/30/20 Brendon reached 1Million streams on Spotify. A feat well deserved and he will only build on for months and years to come. 2020 is meant to have Brendon’s name stamped on it and there’s no answer as to when he will hault his Back to back onslaught of projects.  Brendon has most definitely put in work this past year and we are proud to officially announce that he has been nominated in multiple categories for the 2021 Endie Fiya Radio Awards Show.
