Endometriosis is a a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the entire body and is characterised by severe pelvic pain and can lead to infertility – Its estimated to affect 10 % of women  worldwide. Although 1 in 10 Irish women are affected our healthcare system is struggling to help the people its affecting. It's been brought to the attention of politicians and an endometriosis framework plan has been released in the last couple of weeks.  But has endometriosis treatment improved in Ireland?
