ENDURANCE THROUGH TRIALS!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” — James 1:2-4 (NKJV) Message: Trials are never easy, but James encourages us to see them as opportunities for growth rather than burdens to avoid. When our faith is tested, it strengthens our endurance, shaping us into who God has called us to be. Just as gold is refined by fire, our character and faith are refined through challenges. Endurance is not simply surviving trials but allowing God to work through them to build patience, maturity, and trust in Him. If we try to escape every hardship, we miss out on the transformation that trials can bring. God is not just interested in our comfort—He is interested in making us complete in Him. When difficulties arise, we can face them with joy, not because they feel good, but because we trust that God is using them for a greater purpose. Every trial is an opportunity to grow deeper in faith, to rely on Him more, and to develop the endurance needed to finish the race He has set before us. Today, ask yourself: Am I allowing trials to strengthen my faith, or am I trying to avoid them? How can I embrace challenges with a heart of trust and joy? What area of my life is God refining through endurance? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for using trials to strengthen my faith. Help me to endure with patience and to trust in Your perfect plan. When I face difficulties, remind me that You are refining me, making me complete in You. Give me the strength to walk through every challenge with joy and faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
