ENEA - GIRLS
from UXRZONE — Synthetic Metaradio Hosted by ENEA
◈ ENEA. 'Girls.' Thai / Isaan house via Koh Phangan. Around 132 BPM and the groove is locked from bar one. Shuffled hi-hats carry that MJ Cole-era 2-step swing, the kick punches hard, and underneath it all a bassline moves like something alive. Organ chords sit warm in the mid. Then the shakuhachi comes in and the whole thing shifts register. Bird-call phrasing over a deep house pulse. It shouldn't work. It does. The sub hits low and physical. Rimshots ghost in and out. The arpeggiator catches light in the upper frequencies like sun through canopy. This is Isaan rhythm logic meeting London garage infrastructure, routed through a rainforest at night. ──────────── Broadcast on UXRZONE. Filed under Thai / Isaan house.
