Enemies of the Heir Beware

This week we see Jesus begin to speak to the people in parables. Parables are earthly stories with heavenly meanings. We hear about a vineyard, the Owner, the servants, His Son and the tenants. But there’s more to this story than what’s on the surface. There’s a deeper meaning. A Kingdom meaning. Jesus tells this story to teach us about God, about the people of Jesus’ day and about us. Our response to Jesus here and now, determines whether we receive the inheritance along with Jesus the Heir, or face judgement like the tenants. Come along and receive Jesus, who died and rose again, offering us the most amazing inheritance ever.
