Energy Concerns Over Data Centers

from The Tom Roten Show · host Uncommon Media Group

Eric King is the executive director of The Energy Planning and Inventory Commission (EPIC) in Kentucky. The 2024 General Assembly created EPIC to evaluate Kentucky’s current and future energy landscape and ensure the adequacy of the Commonwealth’s energy supply. King leads EPIC in creating a long-term energy plan for Kentucky, reviewing the adequacy of existing and future electric generation and demand, and considering the continued operation, retirement, divestiture or other major actions impacting any electric generating unit in the Commonwealth. By statute, EPIC is housed within and receives administrative support from the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-tom-roten-show--5987430/support.
