Tom and his wife, Karen founded their educational and consulting business, Brenner Pathways, over 30 years ago. They have published two books about their work in the dementia field, You Say Goodbye and We Say Hello: The Montessori Method for Positive Dementia Care, and their second book, The Montessori Method for Connecting to People with Dementia: A Creative Guide to Communication and Engagement in Dementia Care.Karen Brenner is a Montessori educator and co-founder of two Montessori schools, one of which is an inclusion school for children who are deaf.
