Sunday Teaching Series Engaging the Power of Faith for Fulfilment of Prophecies 2 > You cannot build faith without work. 1 Tim 4:15. > The law of words states that what you say determines what you see; your confession determines your destination. 1 Pet 3:10. > Prophecies are the disclosed intentions or thoughts of God towards a people or an individual. How Powerful are Prophecies? * Prophecies carry in-built or inherent power for fulfillment. Isa. 55:10-11, Luk. 1:34-35. * They release the capacity of God not influenced by the limitations of man. Jer 32:27, Gen 49:3. * God speaks according to His capacity, not our limitations. 2 Kgs. 7:1-2,19-20, Jer. 32:27. > Prophecies make God predictable, man is the one that is unpredictable. Job 19:25, 14:14. > We can build our faith on God’s integrity. Heb 6:16-18, Ps 62:5. How Faith Facilitates fulfilment of Prophecies? * It takes the hand of God to deliver any prophetic agenda – 1 Kgs. 8:15, Mak. 9:23. * But we can only provoke the hand of God by faith. Isa. 53:1, Mat. 9:27-29. * We must give ourselves wholly to the demands of prophecy. 1Tim. 4:15, Luk. 5:3-8. * We must be committed to speaking faith-filled words contrary circumstances notwithstanding. Psa. 81:10-14, Luk. 21:15, Mak. 11:23. * We must expect to see prophecies fulfilled. Heb. 11:1, Pro. 24:13-14, Psa. 62:5.
